DISEC deals with disarmament, global challenges and threats to peace that affect the international community and seeks out solutions to the challenges in the international security regime. It considers all disarmament and international security matters within the scope of the Charter or relating to the powers and functions of any other organ of the United Nations; the general principles of cooperation in the maintenance of international peace and security, as well as principles governing disarmament and the regulation of armaments; promotion of cooperative arrangements and measures aimed at strengthening stability through lower levels of armaments.

• SOCHUM Harnessing the power of collective memory to promote global reconciliation and prevent future conflicts

Established in 1945 following the adoption of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, SOCHUM has been at the forefront of advocating for the protection of vulnerable populations. This committee will focus on building future preparedness and response strategies to tackle global health crises, emphasizing the need for international cooperation and solidarity. By learning from past experiences, the goal is to ensure better support systems and effective measures to mitigate the impact of future pandemics.

• UNDP Promoting sustainable tourism by integrating eco-tourism into economic growth and environmental preservation
