Welcome to TBMUN’23!

 Esteemed participants, advisors, and future diplomats,

It is my honor to invite you to the 6th iteration of TED Bodrum Model United Nations, taking place from June 1-3, 2023. I am beyond excited to serve as Secretary-General for a conference that promotes values of education, excellence, and teamwork. A conference that showcases the best of TBMUN for each delegate and advisor is something I'm particularly proud to be planning with the help of a Secretariat that is incredibly talented. Over the course of the two and a half-day event, nearly 160 high school students will discuss pressing global issues that presidents, prime ministers, and policymakers continue to grapple with today. 

This year, the TBMUN Secretariat has made the official decision to hold the conference face to face for our school's students and for participants from other schools, cities and countries.

 In any case, TBMUN’23 promises to challenge delegates to engage and think critically. Through our many committees, delegates will research historical disputes and conflicts, investigate humanitarian crises and responses, and work towards a consensus on current international events. Tackling these problems will require nothing short of the most unwavering persistence. Over the course of two and a half days, delegates will pass numerous resolutions, addressing a range of issues from, the Soil Infertility due to Desertification to Juvenile Justice to Immigration and protection in Syria and many more. Most importantly, delegates will meet future fellow world leaders through thoughtful conversations and shared working papers on the path to resolution.

Welcome to TBMUN’23!

 Dear delegates, esteemed executive team, and respective advisors, 

It is my greatest joy and utmost pleasure to welcome you all to our 6th annual session of the TED Bodrum Model United Nations. I am incredibly honored to be serving as The Director General of such a conference that offers an incredibly diverse environment, gathering topics of all kinds under its supervision. Invested in this prestigious conference, I am looking forward to working alongside a remarkable team of executives, all working hard to accomplish our goal of sharing global views and discussing valuable decisions.  Gathering nearly 162 high school students, the discussion of pressing global issues and fruitful debates will be highly encouraged and looked forward to in our very own TBMUN’23!

With the topic of this year's conference being “The Pursuit of Justice”, we expect all delegates to be guided by their principled values of equity, their ability to take initiative in pressing matters, and their advocacy of selflessness.

As you all know, our world today is only a small version of what it could be in the future. With the determination and skill we offer here in TBMUN, we wish to tackle issues regarding unfair living circumstances and destructive social dogmas, hoping to promote 

helping those in need. Being led by our fight to restore our moral code within societies,  we are determined to find a road to the pursuit of justice.
